Our wedding day was beyond perfect! It was a little tough planning a wedding 3 states away but our mothers helped out more than we could even say. We were engaged in April and planned our wedding for August 10th....which seemed forever away. But eventually it came and we were excited! We got our bags packed for the wedding and for our honeymoon in Hawaii the following week. We headed to Washington on Thursday to start preparing. We had a wonderful dinner the night before our wedding. Everything was going great until I started checking weather reports for our special day...thunder, lightning, rain, and clouds. Our reception was planned for outdoors. Side note: My amazing grandpa Ted was kind enough to allow us to have our reception in his beautiful yard. He worked so hard for months preparing for this. From measuring how tall the grass should be cut to painting his fences to adding white trim around his roofing (among much more). Back to the weather...everyday around Saturday looked great, except Saturday! All of my grandpas and my moms hard work seemed that it would likely be rained on. All morning and early afternoon Saturday was beautiful. We were getting more and more nervous as the reception approached sooner. But luckily everything was perfect. It wasn't too hot, it didn't rain or thunder...until about 2 minutes after we got into our getaway car. And it POURED like I've never seen in Royal. It blew and poured and thundered. We were worried about our families taking down the reception for us but luckily everything was safely inside before the storm hit. We changed, thanked our families again, and headed off to Seattle. Off to Hawaii the next morning!

Our photographer was amazing and I can't wait to see the pictures from our wedding. Will post those as soon as I get them! Here's a few from the day.
Lucy is taller than me and looked so cute in her dress and she did her hair herself!
This is the sign in table. My mom did a great job on everything!
I don't remember the last time all three of us were together! Love these girls.
Love this little boy with all my heart. This was during our dance.
My grandparent's backyard while we were setting it all up!
My twin. I was so glad she was able to come all the way from New York for my special day! I wish I was able to see her more and can't wait for her little girl to pop out in October.
Kori, my best friend since high school. She has been there for me for over 8 years now! I was so glad I was able to be in her wedding this summer, and she could be in mine.
Amanda, my best friend from dental hygiene school. She came all the way from Texas to be there! We missed our other friend, Kylee though!
